The number of companies and individuals in Donegal taking out .ie domain names on the internet rose by 21% last year.
A report published this morning by the .ie Domain Registry says 480 .ie domains were registered in Donegal in 2015, the highest in Ulster, bringing the .ie addresses in Donegal to 2,846 at the end of last year.
David Curtin is Chief Executive of the domain registry. He says the increase in registrations reflects a continued economic recovery, but also highlights what needs to be done, particularly in rural areas…………..
