More power outages as Storm Henry hits Donegal

The number of homes without power in Donegal has jumped to over 2000 since 10.10 this morning, with the area around Donegal Town the worst affected at present.
According to ESB Networks, there are 1,414 homes without power on the outskirts of Donegal Town, with another  561 without power in the vicinity of Mountcharles.
It’s hoped power can be restored there by 1.45 this afternoon.
Meanwhile, 126 homes remain without power in the vicinity of Dungloe, with a target restoration time of 12 noon.
Met Eireann says Storm Henry will reach its peak this afternoon, before easing this evening and tonight.
