Rory Gallagher includes six Donegal debuts in team to play Down

Donegal will line out in Sunday’s Dr. McKenna Cup tie against Down with six players set to make their senior debuts.
Mark Anthony McGinley takes his place in goals for the first time with Naomh Muire’s Jack O’Brien and Killybegs’ Eoghan Ban Gallagher among the defence in front of the St. Michael’s stopper.
Naomh Conaill’s Ciaran Thompson gets a first nod at midfield while Kilcar’s Stephen McBrearty and Gweedore’s Michael Carroll are named in the half forward line.
If Michael Murphy makes his 100th appearance on Sunday it will be from the bench.
Donegal team to play Down on Sunday 2nd January.
