Hugh Harkin named Derry City No2, Donal O’Brien is Head Coach

Derry City Manager Kenny Shiels has finalised his backroom team for next season.
Local man Hugh Harkin has been appointed number two to Shiels and Donal O’Brien will be Head Coach at the Brandywell.
Youth Coach Harkin has been involved with Derry for over 15 years while former player O’Brien joins after guiding Cockhill Celtic to numerous league and cup titles in recent years.
The rest of the backroom team is made up of Eddie McCallion (coach), Michael Hegarty (Physio), Pearse Lafferty (Strength and Conditioning Coach), Gavin Doherty (Kitman) Seamus McGilloway (Video Analyst) and Dr. Joe McIlroy (Club Doctor).
Derry will start their new Premier Division Campaign with a trip to Ballybofey to play Finn Harps on Friday 4th March.
