Latest man to be arrested in Mc Cauley investigation is released on bail

A 28 year old man arrested in Belfast on Sunday night over the murder of Paul Mc Cauley has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

38-year-old Paul McCauley was left brain damaged after he was assaulted in the summer of 2006 on the Chapel Road in Derry.

The police launched a murder inquiry when he died from his injuries last June.

13 people have been arrested so far - with one person charged with murder and another reported to the Public Prosecution Service.
