Derry Magistrates Court

A 35 year old man has been charged with a number of offences including criminal damage, handling stolen goods and another 10 offences including cultivating cannabis and possessing a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court today.

The charges follow a search at a house by the District Support Team in the Lansdowne Road area of Derry on the afternoon of Thursday 17 December where a cannabis factory was found. At this time it is believed that controlled drugs worth an estimated street value of £27,000 were seized.
