Dungloe house fire victim named

Investigations are continuing this afternoon following the death of 80 year-old man in a house fire in Dungloe.
The victim has been named locally as Connie Boyle, Pole Road, Meenmore, Dungloe.
The fire at the single story house was first reported at 2.30am this morning.
Emergency services arrived at the scene a short time later but the house was already ingulfed in flames.
Mr Boyke was taken from the house and CPR was performed but he was later pronounced dead.
A post mortem examination is being carried out.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination which is due to be carried out later today but Gardai say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
