Letterkenny beat Swilly to go top of the Ulster Senior League

Letterkenny Rovers hit the summit of the Ulster Senior League with a 4-0 win over Swilly Rovers at the Aura Centre.
Darren Mc Elwaine scored twice for Letterkenny, opening their account just past the half hour mark.
Johnny Bonner scored their second in the 53rd minute, Paul Mc Veigh made it three with twenty minutes left before McElwaine rounded of the day with his second in the 80th minute.
Swilly finished the game with ten men after Dylan Hegarty was sent off for hauling back Johnny Bonner.
Bonner hit the post with his penalty before Darren McElwaine’s follow-up was well saved by Gareth Wade.
The win moves Letterkenny top of the table two points clear of Cockhill Celtic and Bonagee Utd, but Cockhill do have a game in hand after their match with Fanad Utd was called Off.
