There was disappointment for Donegal fighters at Friday night's Senior Elite Women's Finals in Dublin.
At the National Stadium, Twin Towns Donna Barr and Carrigart's Maeve McCarron lost their respective deciders.
Barr who was making a first senior final appearance lost the light-flyweight contest on a controversial split decision to the defending champion, St. Brigid's Lauren Hogan.
After four intense rounds the judges scored it 40-36, 36-40, 39-36 in favour of Hogan.
In the 81+kg final, McCarron lost to Diana Campbell of Garda on a unanimous decision
The 18 year old who was also appearing in her first senior final lost on the cards 40-36, 39-37, 39-37.
