Finn Harps u19 look to secure top spot

Finn Harps
Finn Harps U19s will look to cap a highly successful league campaign by winning section 3 of the SSE Airtricity National U19 league, which they will achieve if they avoid losing against Sligo Rovers at Maginn Park, Buncrana on Saturday.
With both teams neck and neck at the summit of the table on 20 points it promises to be a highly competitive encounter but one that Harps manager Joe Boyle is relishing.
Both teams will be eager to claim the spoils as the section winners will get home advantage in the quarter final stages.
“We are very happy to be in contention at last game of the league proper and its obviously very pleasing to be guaranteed a place in the quarter final.  The whole squad have put a lot of commitment into the training and preparation schedule we have implemented over the last 5 months, so considering it’s such a young squad it’s a great achievement to be in this position. Sligo are the only side to have defeated us this year so I think we can look forward to a very exciting game”
