Finn Harps feat
It’s advantage Limerick in the Promotion Relegation Play Off after Monday nights 1-0 win over Finn Harps at Market’s Field.
It was a Donegal man who scored the games only goal on 35 minutes.
After alot of early pressure from the home side Shaun Kelly from Killybegs struck a stunning rocket from the edge of the right hand side of the box to give Limerick the advantage.
As the game continued and Harps settled, they pressed the opposition,  started to create chances and matched the Premier Division side.
Kelly was lucky to stay on the pitch as he commited a two footed lunge on Harps Tony McNamee, referee Robert Rogers showed a yellow card.
Harps best opportunity of the night came twelve minutes from the end when substitute BJ Banda beat the Limerick keeper Ian Hall to the ball from a Gareth Harkin pass, he rounded Hall but his effort from 20 yards out went wide of the open goal.
It’s a slender lead for Limerick who have to come to Finn Park for the second leg this Friday Night.
Diarmaid Doherty and Declan Boyle will have full LIVE commentary on Highland this Friday from Ballybofey.
