“Clean Up Politics” campaign to be stepped up in Donegal


A Ballybofey man says his 'Clean Up Politics' campaign is stepping up a gear this week with the launch of a billboard truck which will visit towns across the county in the coming weeks.

Tim Jackson who leads the campaign aims to reduce TD's wages from just under €90,000 to €45,000, along with a raft of other changes to expenses, pensions and State funding of political parties.

As part of the Clean Up Politics campaign, candidates at the next General Election are being asked to adopt four policy points with regard to their earnings.

He says if they do not agree to the policy points, he might consider running himself..........
