Pigeon Poop causing distress to Derry walkers and cyclists

PigeonPigeonDerry City Council is being called on to look at ways to protect Craigavon Bridge from pigeon droppings which are said to be causing distress for cyclists and pedestrians.
Pigeon mess gathers on the lower deck of the bridge which is too narrow for Council cleansing vehicles.
Local Councillor Martin Reilly wants the council to look for a long term solution and has suggested the erection of netting to deter the pigeons:
