Victories for LYIT men’s soccer and gaelic teams

It’s been a good day for the two LYIT men’s teams.
The soccer side beat GMIT Galway 5-3 in the league game in Letterkenny.
Dean Larkin and Paul McVeigh scored two each while Anthony Appiah grabbed the other.
That’s two wins from three games for Shane Byrne’s side.
The gaelic football team had a convincing win over the North West College Derry at the Templemore Sport Complex, winning 5-19 to 0-7.
The five goals were scored by Caolan Mc Daid (3-2) and John Campbell (2-8).
It’s back to back wins for the men while the ladies gaelic footballers are also looking for a second win on Thursday.
They take on St. Mary’s College Belfast at the O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny at 4pm.
