League of Ireland player fails drugs test

A League of Ireland player has tested positive for a banned substance, believed to be cocaine.
It’s reported in today’s press traces of the drug appeared in a random test taken last month.
The unnamed player has not played for his club of late, and could now be facing a ban and large fine.
