Open Claret Jug
Ryder Cup captain Darren Clarke says the Open Championship returning to Royal Portrush is a “proud” moment.
It will be only the second time in the tournament’s history that’s it’s been held outside of Scotland or England.
The last time was also at Portrush – in 1951.
Organisers the Royal & Ancient have confirmed the event will run from the 18th to 21st July 2019.
Darren Clarke is looking forward to welcoming one of the sports biggest events to his home club…
