Chloe Magee loses to World No.4 at French Open

It’s been a mixed day for Chloe Magee at Badminton’s Super Series in France.
This morning the Raphoe Olympian won her first match against french player Joanna Chaube in straight sets 21-15 21-7 to ease into the next qualification stage.
However, In the afternoon session Chloe would lose to the world number four from Japan 21-14 21-5, a result which brought an end to her singles competition.
Later this evening Chloe will look to get back on the winning trail as she teams up with brother Sam in the mixed doubles where they will take on an Australian pair in the first round.
The Magees are ranked 30 in the world while the Australians are ranked 33.
