Yesterday was a massive day for the Thompson family in Glenties with four brothers in the Naomh Conaill team that won the Dr Maguire Cup for a third time.
Aaron, Anthony, Leon and Ciaran Thompson all started yesterday’s final against St Eunan’s and became only the third set of four brothers to do so.
The others were the Laverty brothers from Sean MacCumhaills, Harry, Bernard, Johnny and Mickey and the Doherty brothers from Ardara, Eamon,Joe, Michael and Conall.
