LYIT men go down 3-0 in Dundalk but ladies win comfortably against UUC

The LYIT men’s soccer side lost their first league game of the season today.
Shane Byrne’s side went down 3-0 to Dundalk at Oriel Park.
Two goals from David Hand and strike from Conor McDonald gave the home side the points.
The LYIT will play GMIT in their next game on Wednesday 21st October in Letterkenny.
In  ladies gaelic football the Letterkenny side beat University Ulster Coleraine 11-11 to 6-14 at the O’Donnell Park.
Emma McGroary, Geraldine Mc Laughlin and Gemma Glackin all stared for the LYIT this afternoon.
