Late Fanad points force Intermediate semi final replay

Fanad Gaels and Naomh Colmcille will have to replay their Donegal Intermediate Championship semi final after it ended 2-7 apiece at the O’Donnell Park on Sunday evening.
As the game entered injury time Naomh Colmcille lead by two points but Fanad hit two late scores from Seamie ‘Cosha’ Friel and Mark Sweeney to tie up the game.
Fanad’s goals came in the first half from Sweeney and Johnny Friel while Willie Gillespie scored both For Naomh Colmcille,
The replay will be played next Sunday 11th October at 1pm in MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey with the winners playing Bundoran in the final.
