Donegal may host conference to discuss the plight of undocumented Irish in US

Donegal County Councillors have said they are fully committed to supporting the undocumented in The United States with a proposal for a conference on the issue to be held in the county.
Michael McMahon, representing Familes of the Undocumented Irish in the United States, this week addressed the council, stating that for 20 years public representatives have expressed concern but little action has been taken.
Mr McMahon says that while he welcomed the reception he recieved, action rather than words is now needed to help the thousand of Irish classed as illegal in North America……
