Concerns have been raised once again in relation to claims that hundreds of barrels containing potentially toxic and hazardous material lie dumped just a few miles off the coast of Donegal.
Sinn Féin Councillor John Shéamais Ó Fearraigh will today table a motion before today’s meeting of Donegal County Council in which he will be calling on both the local authority and the Department of the Marine to investigate the claims.
Councillor Ó Fearraigh,has decided to raise the issue following increasing concerns from residents throughout west Donegal about the potential harmful effects caused by possible contaminants.
