St. Columas Church in Termon reopens following fire during mass

 

St. Columba’s Church in Termon re-opened this morning following yesterday’s fire in the main body of the chapel.
A light overhead went on fire and fell to the ground during 10 o’clock mass yesterday morning.
It’s believed there is no structural damage to the building and no injuries were reported.
However Toxic fumes circulating the church prevented a christening and Saturday evening mass from going ahead.
