Police are appealing for information about two burglaries in the Waterside area Derry.
Shortly before 11pm yesterday,  two men broke into a house at Limavady Road and ransacked a bedroom.
They made off when challenged by a resident.
They are thought to have made off on foot towards St Columb’s and the Peace Bridge.
And a house at Glenmore Park, Altnagelvin, was also entered between 6.30pm and 11pm on Wednesday.  The house was ransacked and money stolen.
Police have not ruled out a link between the two incidents.
Detective Inspector Conor McStravick appealed for anyone who saw suspicious activity to contact Strand Road CID on the 101 non-emergency number, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
