Fitzmaurice to remain Kingdom boss

Eamonn Fitzmaurice
Eamonn Fitzmaurice is to stay on as Kerry football manager.
Yesterday’s All Ireland final defeat to Dublin marked the end of his three-year spell in charge of the Kingdom.
But Kerry Chairman Patrick O’Sullivan told the crowd at the team’s homecoming that Fitzmaurice and his backroom team will stay on for a further year.
Meanwhile, veteran forward Alan Brogan was remaining non-commital about his future with Dublin.
At their celebration on O’Connell Street, he was asked if he’d stay on with the panel but told the crowd he’d take time to enjoy that third All Ireland win in five years.
