Tourism Minister launches next phase of Wild Atlantic Way in Donegal

Tourism Minister Michael Ring is in Donegal today to launch the next phase of the Wild Atlantic Way with further development for the touring route’s 188 designated Discovery Points.
3.5 million euro is being spent on planned photo-markers and interpretative panels, with the first of them being unveiled at Bloody Foreland this afternoon.
Huston Engineering in Letterkenny have won the contract to make the Photo Markers and Interpretation panels for all the sites along the Wild Atlantic Way – from Donegal down to West Cork.
Earlier on the Shaun Doherty Show, Fáilte Ireland CEO, Shaun Quinn told Greg Hughes that Malin head will be one of the next priorities for the tourism authority.
