Mc Daid calls for action to address Churchill water problems

The state of the water supply in the Churchill area is once again under scrutiny.
Severe discoloration caused by vegetation seeping into the supply has become an annual occurrence, and it is at its peak at this time of year.
Residents claim the water is undrinkable and unusable for washing clothes.
Local Councillor James Pat McDaid tabled a motion last week, calling on Irish Water to produce a detailed account of their progress and work on the matter to date.
He says the filtration system in the area is inadequate, and that is simply unacceptable…….
