Calls made for more speech and language therapists in schools

Fianna Fáil Education Spokesperson Charlie McConalogue has called on the Government to increase the number of speech and language therapists in schools and pre-schools.
The call comes as latest figures from the HSE show there are more than 8,000 people waiting for treatment.
Both adults and children are among the 8 thousand on the list.
Donegal Deputy Charlie McConalogue says putting a therapist in schools would not only alleviate the waiting list but also reduce long waiting times for people:
