It’s a big night in the FAI Cup with all four quarter finals scheduled for this evening.
Derry City host Cork City in an all-Premier Division clash at the Brandywell.
Derry have lost twice in the league to Cork this season – and tonight Peter Hutton must plan without the cup tied Conor McCormick and Ciaran O’Connor. Philip Lowry is suspended.
But of course Derry have a proud tradition in the cup and with home advantage and in front of a good crowd, they could well put one over John Caulfield’s side.
Premier Division leaders Dundalk host Sligo Rovers at Oriel Park in one of the other big ties.
Elsewhere Bray welcome Killester Longford Town meet Sheriff YC
There’s also one game in the First Division tonight and it’s one that Harps supporters will be watching with interest
The leaders Wexford Youths host UCD at Ferrycarrig Park
