Ballybofey and Stranolar Golf Club win J.B. Carr Trophy

Ballybofey and Stranolar Golf Club won the recent JB Carr All Ireland Final held at Woodenbridge.
The Donegal club beat Tuam in the final 3-2 to win at the County Wicklow venue.
To make the final they overcame Tullamore 3.5 to 1.5 in the semi’s.
It’s a first All Ireland title for Ballybofey and Stranolar and it’s the first time the competition has been won by an Ulster club.
