Invest NI will continue to work with Hunters after workforce is cut by a third

Invest NI
Invest Northern Ireland is pledging to continue to work with Hunter Apparel in Derry following the announcement this week that 15 jobs are to go at the company’s Springtown plant, representing around a third of the workforce.
In a statement issued to Highland Radio News, Invest NI says it’s understood that although this is a difficult period for the company, this action will protect the longevity of Hunters and its core staff.
Hunters Apparel had previously unveiled plans for a half million pounds expansion which would have seen job numbers increase.
Invest NI says it will continue to work with the company.
