Tyrone to wait on Harte appointment

Mickey Harte has yet to be ratified as Tyrone boss for another season but it seems likely that it will happen next month.
The county board met last night but did not come to a decision.
Instead delegates were told there would be a briefing with all inter county managers ahead of the next board meeting, including the under 21 management team of Feargal Logan, Brian Dooher and Peter Canavan who are expected to stay in that role for another season.
For the first time since he became senior manager in 2002, there is no agreed extension in place for Harte.
