Action continues today at the World Rowing Championships in France where Letterkenny's Sinead Jennings goes in the quarter finals of the lightweight women's double skulls with her partner Claire Lambe.

For Jennings and Lambe to secure a place at the Olympic games in Rio next year, they have to finish in the top 11 at the world's.

They comfortably made the next round by winning their heat last Sunday and will go in the third quarter final at 11.20am Irish time.

Sinead has won gold and bronze at previous world championships but never made the Olympics.
