Police investigating dissident republican activity have been carrying out searches in Strabane.
The searches, conducted by the PSNI were carried out in Townsend Street area last night and this morning.
It’s believed the searches continued into last night as the police helicopter was sighted hovering low over the town.
The PSNI said the policing operations had disrupted dissident republican activity in Strabane.
They have asked the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
