Over one and half thousand people in Donegal have had their profile on an adultery website hacked with their details published online.
The Irish Sun is reporting that 767 people in Letterkenny and 942 in Donegal have had their personal details hacked from Ashley Madison.com, totalling 1,709.
The Sun is also reporting that emails linked to RTE, bankers, civil servants, HSE staff and Gardai are registered on the world’s biggest infidelity website.
Ashley Madison had promised complete privacy but last month, hackers calling themselves Impact Team hacked it.
The group claims that that up to 95% of the websites users are male and that thousands of female profiles are fake.
