The Chair of the Donegal Marathon committee is calling on people to support runners and walkers during Sunday’s marathon and half marathon.
Dessie Larkin says a key element of the success of last year’s event was the fact that people came out to support participants, making the journey a little shorter.
He says this added greatly to the atmosphere of the event, and he’s hoping for a similar response on Sunday:
