McCorry steps away from Down

Jim McCorry has stepped down as manager of the Down senior footballers.
Despite a disappointing championship exit at the hands of Wexford, McCorry and his backroom team received the backing of county’s clubs to continue in the job just last month after helping the team to return to Division 1 for next season.
Meanwhile, the Cork county board have announced that 2010 All-Ireland winners, Paudie Kissane and Noel O’Leary will form part of the management team for the county’s minor footballers for the next two seasons.
