Donegal captain Michael Murphy was full of praise for his team-mates after they saw off the Galway challenge to earn their place in the quarter-finals of the All Ireland Senior Football Championship.
The Tribesmen tested Donegal in the first half and the sides were level at the break.
But Donegal were much improved in the second half and emerged victorious on a scoreline of 3-12 to 0-11.
