Cuthbert to step away from Cork

Brian Cuthbert
Brian Cuthbert is to step down as Cork Senior Football manager.
The Examiner are this morning reporting that Cuthbert won’t seek a third year in charge following last week’s eight-point defeat to Kildare in round 4 of the qualifiers.
Cork finished top of Division One this year, but lost heavily to Dublin in the League final.
Former Under-21 manager John Cleary is among the early frontrunners to replace Cuthbert, as is ex-Nemo Rangers coach Ephie Fitzgerald.
