Drumkeen have withdrawn from the upcoming Ulster Senior League

The new Ulster Senior League has already been reduced to 6 clubs for the upcoming season, Drumkeen united announced today that they are unable to field a competitive team for the season ahead, the league had settled with 7 teams to play each other 3 times, already the league will have to re-think the format. It is disappointing for both the League and Drumkeen, today’s statement read,
‘Drumkeen United wishes to announce that we will not be in a Position to take part in the forth coming Season of the Ulster Senior League , It is with deep regret that we take this decision but we quite simply do not have enough players of the Caliber necessary to Compete at that level, We wish to apologize to the Ulster Senior League for any inconvenience caused and we wish them all the best for the Season ahead.’
