Donegal's golf courses could see a major influx of visitors from the US market as a result of Failte Ireland's latest marketing strategy.
On Monday next, 11 influential golf writers, broadcasters and online media with a combined audience reach of almost 90 million, will arrive from the US to play some of the key golf courses along the Wild Atlantic Way.
The trip begins at Portrush and ends at Rosses Point in Sligo, with Donegal the focus for the brunt of the trip.
Failte Ireland says the visitors will play a diverse range of courses in Donegal, including Rossapenna, Portsalon and the challenging Glashedy Links Course at Ballyliffin.
