Shay Given agrees two year deal with Stoke

Stoke have completed the signing of Shay Given from Aston Villa
The Lifford keeper has signed a two-year deal with Mark Hughes Potters.
The 39-year-old was close to joining Middlesbrough but the Premier League side swooped late to complete a deal.
Shay will compete with Jack Butland for the no.1 spot in goals.
Given was the second capture of the day for Stoke, who earlier announced the signing of Marco van Ginkel on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
