Rory Mcilroy has today withdrew from the Open Championship with the ankle injury he sustained recently while playing football with friends. Mcilroy is defending champion , he said on Instagram today he is receiving rehab and wants to be 100% before making a return to tournament golf. He also thanked everyone for their support.
