The Health Minsiter is being called on to make money available to forfill staffing and services promised for Letterkenny General Hospital.
A number of services, including Rheumatology and Neurology have been downgraded at the hospital as the money is not available to recruit staff to replace consultants who have left.
It is further claimed that promises of an increase in breast check service hasn’t transpired as the Saolta University Health Care Group doesn’t have the money.
Councillor Gerry McMonagle wants the Health Minister to intervene:
