The biggest ever cruise ship to visit Killybegs will dock with 1,800 passengers on board – roughly the population of the whole town – this morning.
The vessel is 260 metres long – almost double the length of the Croke Park pitch which is 140 metres in length.
The cruise business in Killybegs has really taken off over the past few years. Nine cruise ships are confirmed for this summer and since 2009 there have been over 50 cruise ships visiting.
