First medal for Magees at European games

 
In Badminton, Sam and Josh Magee are the latest members of the Irish squad to secure a medal.They are now guaranteed to take home at least a bronze medal after winning their quarter-final against the Belgian duo the Magees’s winning by two games to one .
Earlier, there were also wins for Sam and Chloe Magee who have qualified for the quarter finals with a 100% record when they secured a victory against their Maltese opponents by two games to nil.
