234 house repossession cases are due before the Registrar’s Court in Co Donegal today.
It’s the latest in a series of sittings to deal with a massive backlog of repossession cases involving banks and building societies seeking to have houses repossessed.
Meanwhile up to 25 protesters from a number of groups gathered outside Letterkenny Courthouse today.
One of the protesters at the courthouse today was Michael Mooney, and he says the people facing repossessions are under serious pressure:
