Weekend EditionThe Weekend Edition with Greg Hughes broadcasts on Highland Radio every Saturday Morning from 10am till noon with a mix of music, features and chat and it was another bumper edition this week!
On the show Rob Laffan discusses an app he developed which assists his daughter with Autism communicate, it recently won a major Engineering award.
Ger Crowley is on the show, he is part of a crew of 20 rowers taking part in the Row Around Ireland Challenge to raise money for Cycstic Fibrosis Ireland – they are currently off the Donegal coast, we get an update on their progress.
Soundwaves is a new music programme to bring together musicians ages 14-19 – Kevin Murphy, Director of Wall 2 Wall Music is in studio with the details.
There is a new website looking to link people with their look-a-likes – Niamh Geaney found her doppelganger and tells us all about it.
Live music this week comes from the amazing ‘The Railsplitters’ all the way from the Colorado Rockies. They perform for us as their Irish tour draws to a close.
We get news of a survey which shows under 5s prefer a book going to bed instead of watching TV, we here of the importance of knowing CPR and Aaron McCann chats ahead of his first ever one man show  at the Strule Arts Centre, Tyrone.
