Council asked to review funding of theatres in Donegal

The Council is being asked to provide extra funding for the countries only Irish language theatre in Gweedore.
The Amharclann Ghaoth Dobhair in Derrybeg, which opened in 1962, is funded completely independently.
Donegal County Council owns two theatres in the county in Letterkenny and Ballyshannon, and is required to fund these assets.
But Cllr John Seamais O Fearraigh says he wants the council to look at the overall funding for theatres across the county:
