Donegal jockey Martin Harley rode The King’s Strand Stakes winner on day 1 of Royal Ascort Festival today.
Harley’s mount Goldream clinched victory at 20-1 in a thrilling climax as the Robert Conwall sprinter battled with the leaders in the final five furlongs to grab the win by a short head.
50-1 Medicean Man was second.
It’s a second career win at Ascot for Harley.
